AM BERG®

Our entry wine — and our signature wine.

Since 1994, our lightest Grüner Veltliner and an international ambassador for our winery. Just as selectively hand-picked and meticulously vinified as our single-vineyard wines. A great entry wine with a lightness and finesse that is simultaneously profound and demanding.

Three image sections in an irregular diamond shape of vineyards photographed by a drone.

Precise and light-footed as ever.

For more than 20 years, we have been producing this Grüner Veltliner from vines rooted at the foot of the slopes of our key vineyards in Feuersbrunn, Gösing and Fels am Wagram. The wine should reflect the interplay of loess and Grüner Veltliner as precisely as possible, emphasizing the light and elegant characteristics of the grape variety.

HARVEST & VINIFICATION

100% hand-picked. Spontaneous fermentation and pied de cuve. Matured primarily in stainless steel, but also in large Stockinger wooden casks.

ORIGIN

Young vineyards within cycling distance in the loess soils of the Wagram and Kamptal regions. 15-25 year old vines.

AM BERG® – our signature wine since 1994. Each grape is hand-picked, with the same care as our single-vineyard wines. Lightness, precision, and uncompromising quality – from the vine to the glass.
